ICYMI: Jesus Delgado + Deep Ellum Arts Festival

Welcome to the first edition of Lyft DFW's In Case You Missed It (ICYMI)!

This post is dedicated to an amazing driver who was the shining star of the Deep Ellum Arts Festival this past weekend. Jesus has a KILLER rating of 4.98 (WHOO!) and has been driving for Lyft since February 2018.

A survey was sent out to artists in our driver community and we received an overwhelming +400 responses for a feature at the Deep Ellum Arts Festival! For those who don't know, The Deep Ellum Arts Festival first debuted in 1994 as a one block street party and has since become one of the largest visual and performing Arts Festivals in the region achieving international recognition for presenting the finest in original performing and visual artists. The festival now consists of over 100 original bands and singer songwriters performing on 5 stages, 200-juried visual artists displaying and selling their one of a kind works, spontaneous street performances, over 30 restaurants serving scrumptious trendy and classic foods & beverages, and great people watching covering six city blocks and adjacent spaces in the heart of the Deep Ellum Entertainment district.

After narrowing down the pool of 400, Jesus Delgado's designs were featured and printed on bandanas in our live screen-printing booth at Deep Ellum Arts Festival and as you can see from the photos below, it was a HIT. Jesus, we can't thank you enough for being a part of the magic! Check out some of his work here.
