St. Patrick's Day 2019
On Saturday, March 16th, Dallas will be hosting its annual St. Patrick’s Day parade! With increased demand and road closures on the agenda, you’ll want to read up on this weekend’s activities before hitting the road.
Where To Drive
Get lucky in Uptown and surrounding areas with the parade kicking off at 11:00 AM and running from Blackwell to SMU Blvd. The block party continues further down Greenville between Vickery and Vanderbilt. Expect demand to be high on Saturday as the celebration moves between the parade, block party and local pubs! Be sure to check the maps and street closures below before you hit the road.
Dash Down Greenville 5k
Starting at 8 a.m. all eastbound lanes of East University Boulevard, Lovers Lane, and Caruth Haven Lane are closed from Central Expressway to Greenville Avenue
Residents north of University Drive and east of Greenville Avenue should travel north to Lovers Lane or Southwestern Boulevard to the controlled intersections. Residents south of University and east of Greenville Avenue should travel south to Sandhurst Lane and exit to Skillman Street.
Dallas St. Patrick's Day Parade & Block Party
The following streets will be designated one-way westbound from Greenville Avenue to McMillan Avenue from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The following streets will be designated one-way eastbound from Greenville Avenue to Matilda Street from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
